After a very thorough lecture from Mr. Lynns about Apollo 13 it was time for the four friends to seperate. While Rae and Elizabeth went to math class with Ms. Lerry, Varick and Darce went to their least favorite class. It was not that hated hated Science class, they merely hated the teacher. Ms. Hans was one of the most boring teachers in the world. Her voice could make even the most interesting of activities seem boring. She had this habit of droning on while she talked, showing no emotion whatsoever while she spoke. Half the time the students in the class took the time to sleep or goof off while she lectured them. The only person who actually paid attention to her was Rae.
Varick and Darce were met with the same feeling of despair when they walked into Hans' classroom. The gloomy, gray classroom was the perfect match to her dull, stone-faced personality. Taking a seat in one of the back tables they waited for Hans to enter the classroom. A minute after they had found their seats Ms. Hans entered the room. She slowly waddled to her desk and took a seat to enter attendance on her computer. After several minutes of typing on her computer she stood up and walked over wipe board. "Class" she began in a bored tone "Today we-". But before she could finish her sentence there was a knock at the classroom door. With a sigh Hans waddled over to the door, slowly opening it with her chubby arm. Behind the door stood a person, it was young man with sandy-blonde hair and tan skin. His clothing choice was very unorthodox. He wore a blue hawaiian shirt, a black tie, and gray shorts. It looked like he going to a beach party rather than a school. "Hey" he said with a smile, he had a very thick californian accent when he spoke. "Are you Ms. Hans?" he asked. "Yes" Ms. Hans droned "Who are you supposed to be? Last time I checked the swimming pool was on the other side of the hall." The man at the door laughed at Hans' sarcasm "No dude, I'm the new student teacher. My professor called you didn't he?" He questioned. It took a moment before it Hans realized he was right. "Oh right" she responded, still in her bored tone. "Well, come in, I guess." she said, motioning him to enter the room. "Awesome" he said as he walked into the classroom, taking the second seat at the table Sarah was sitting at. "Class" Hans droned "Today starts the time we will have a student teacher joining us." Hans explained, not bothering to show any excitement. "Why don't you come up front and tell us about yourself, Mr....." Han's paused for a moment. "Uh, Kevin" the man at the desk answered. "Mr. Kevin" she noted "Well go ahead, come up front and tell us about yourself." Hans groaned, as though the idea sickened her. "Like, Ok" Kevin responded as he walked up to the front of the classroom. He stood there for a moment, looking around the classroom. It was silent for a moment, then Sarah decided to raise her hand. "Yeah, dudette?" he asked pointing at her. "Who are you?" Sarah asked. "My names Kevin" he introduced himself "Cool to meet you all. I'm gonna be helping Ms. Hans teach science for awhile. Once again Sarah raised her hand. "Yeah?" he questioned, pointing at her again. "Are you a surfer or something?" Sarah asked. "You ask a lot of questions little dudette" Kevin said with a smile "I love it. The world needs more people who ask questions." To be continued......
